Our mission is simple: to provide a high value, hassle free electronics experience. We provide solutions from simple audio systems to fully integrated home audio, video, phone systems, lighting control, blind/shade control, alarm, HVAC and control solutions. We would be happy to provide you with a solution to all your low voltage electronic needs.
Our systems are installed from coast to coast, NYC to LA and have been featured in several of the major magazines such as Sound and Vision and Electronic House including the upcoming 2011 Electronic House issue where we were an award winner in the category of Best Home Theater in the 2011 Home of the Year contest.
We carry a wide range of products starting with flat panel TVs to high end reference level audio equipment to fit all budgets. Our clients return again and again across the nation due to our fair prices and excellent service.

Wiring
Full Prewire Services
We provide full low volt wiring services and lighting wiring consultation for your project. We handle all wire for alarm, telephone, data, video, audio, camera, touch pads/control, and drape/shade control. The advantage to having one company do it all is the ability to engineer in backup wires for multiple purposes. This prevents costly repair issues when a wire may be damaged at some time in the future. It also allows for a clean upgrade path as technology changes. We have been installing the same basic wiring package for nearly 7 years and it still supports all currently available technologies.
Home Automation
Lighting Control
Control4 offers a lighting control system and also the ability to integrate with several popular lighting control systems. We do not provide high voltage electrical work and will be happy to work with your electrical contractor for any lighting control needs including supplying the Control4 solution and providing on site technical and installation support.
HVAC
Control Control4 Thermostats provide a simple solution to adding HVAC control to your project. There are also a few systems that integrate with Control4 without the need for a Control4 thermostat.
Drape/Shade Control
Control4 can integrate with many popular shade and blind systems. We at Experience AV also provide shades and blinds from several manufacturers but we are happy to work with your providers.
Fireplace Control
Most gas fireplace units can be controlled with a touch of a button when integrated with a Control4 system. Please contacts us for integration requirements.
Spa/Pool Control
There are a few spa and pool controllers that integrate with Control4 and will provide you with several features such as vacation mode and arrival warm up.
Sprinkler Control
Irrigation can be controlled remotely on some systems with contact control.
Alarm Integration
Most popular alarm systems can be integrated with Control4 to provide additional features. This option is best suited for a fully automated home with HVAC and Lighting control.
Audio
Distributed Audio
One of the most popular features of today’s home is the distributed audio system. Multiple music zones are installed in the home to allow several listeners access to the home audio system. Rhapsody, iPods, Satellite music, and digitally stored music collections are just some of the sources available to your home audio system.
iPort
This little device allows an iPod or iPhone to be plugged into the house and the music is then accessible in any zone or room in the house. Control is from any of the local controllers and you no longer have to return to the iPod to change songs or browse the music. It is all done on the TV or on a wall touch screen.
Outdoor Audio
Outdoor audio for a deck or spa has become very popular. We feature systems from simple speakers that hang under a roof to fully engineered audio systems that are integrated and hidden within the landscaping of the property and can cover acres with sound.
Audiophile Systems (2 channel)
We have a full range of audiophile sound systems including Paradigm, McIntosh, phonographs from Clearaudio, and many others. Simple systems are available from the $3000 range to as far as your imagination can take you. Our $120,000 McIntosh reference system is a true work of art and a dedicated listening room or acoustical treatment of an existing room is highly recommended.
Video
TVs and Projectors
We have many brands available of TVs and projectors. The units vary in features and quality greatly. We will price match any unit with local big box stores to make sure you get the best price. In order to be compatible with a home control system, some TVs must have certain features and many of the entry models do not comply with control standards. Please contact us for advice on TV compatibility with your control system.
Distributed Video
Distributed video allows you to have a simple flat screen TV on the wall and remotely locate all the satellite boxes, dvd players, video servers and any other video source into a central A/V closet. All of your devices are controlled remotely and can be shared among the TVs throughout the house. No longer do you have to have one Satellite box per TV. You can share 2 or 3 among the entire house and access saved shows from the DVR in any room.
Central Movie Servers/400 disc Bluray Movie servers
These are becoming more common every day. Load you movies into your house and you can access them from any room with the click of a button on any TV remote, iPad or touch screen. We provide several levels of video servers from Dune, Fusion, and many others. This is currently a very volatile market and new products are available almost monthly so please call for advice in this category. Sony also offers a high end 400 disc Bluray changer that can be controlled from the home system. The only drawback is that only one movie can be played in the home at a time.
Netflix/Youtube/Hulu/Apple TV
Any of these services can be integrated into your distributed video system or into a single room with ease. Skip the next trip to the movie rental store and just click a button.
Home Theater/Home Cinema
We provide full home theater and home cinema solutions from simple game rooms and surround sound rooms to an acoustically engineered Hollywood director screening room. Our theater systems start with our $5000 basic theater with a 100” pull down screen, projector and full sound system to our $160,000 Le Praz theater which won in the 2011 Home of the Year Contest from Electronic House Magazine. We have installed home cinema systems in excess of $500,000 so regardless of your project requirements we have you covered. We have a THX Certified Professional on staff and also have employees who have completed ISF and HAA training as well as factory training from nearly all of the manufacturers that we represent.
Control Options
Wireless Touch pads
Wireless 7” touch pads are available for full featured control of your system.
iPad
The Apple iPad is now supported as a control device. If you currently own one, a simple license for the house must be purchased from Control4 and then you have full access to the house controls including lighting, HVAC, sound and video. With a central movie server, you can even browse movies from your iPad and start them with the click of a button.
iPod/iTouch
The iTouch and iPhone have also been enabled to control a Control4 home with the purchase of an access license. Other platforms are in development including Android and Blackberry from what we have been told.
Handheld remotes with onscreen control
One of the cool features of Control4 is the ability to control your home with a simple remote control directly from your TV screen. The menu system works just like a DVD menu with 4 arrows and select button in the middle. Almost anyone can run the system with little or no instruction.
Computer Control
New for this year is an application on the PC and Mac that allow you to control your home via a program launched from your desktop. This requires the MyHome license and also enables the iPhones and iPads in your house for a single price.
